The Round the Bend Jacket and Puzzle Pillow Blanket feature the magic of knitting garter stitch squares and Meg's sew-as-you-go technique to unite the sections as you knit. The jacket follows a twisting path from the cuff, up the sleeve, then turns four corners before re-attaching. The second side is a mirror image of the first and the two sides are knit together to form the jacket. The blanket zigs and zags, forming garter stitch triangles and parallelograms with perpendicular grain, plus the pillow folds up into its own attached pillow case. About the Actor

Meg Swansen is the author of Handknitting with Meg Swansen, Meg Swansen's Knitting, and Armenian Knitting. Following in her mother's, Elizabeth Zimmermann, footsteps she has become a well known knitting designer, writing for Vogue Knitting International in each issue. She is the owner of Schoolhouse Press, a mail order knitting supply and publishing business, and instructs on a number of additional DVDs including the Baby Surprise Jacket, The Knitting Glossary, Knitting Lace and many others.
